The SVNA hosts several community meetings throughout the year, presenting a series of speakers on various topics, highlighting current issues in the community. UPCOMING SVNA COMMUNITY MEETINGS & EVENTS

Let’s all show up to foster community and to let our presenters know that we are interested in what happens in our community and are willing to participate to get things done.

♦ Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 7pm via Zoom
Join us as we welcome Jennifer Olvera, the new Manager of the Marin County Fair. She will let us know the plans for this year and, as they have in the past, Marin County Cultural Services will provide two sets of free tickets to the Fair, along with posters, that will be given to two lucky winners of our door raffle (SVNA members only). Osher Marin JCC will also join us for a presentation on the events and opportunities at their facility. As well, Rebekah Wilson from Vivalon has agreed to join us for a presentation. I’m sure everyone else will be as excited as we are to hear what their facility has to offer. Hope to see you all soon!

♦ Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 6:30pm in-person
NNO meetings have been a great success in previous years, so we’re planning on doing it again. We’ll start with a potluck at 6:30pm and plan on staying until the conversation is over. So, if you can’t get there earlier, come later.
As in previous years, we hope to be joined by Deputies from the Marin County Sheriff’s Department and will also invite the San Rafael Fire Department to join us. We are never sure who will be able to attend, depending on service calls, but if left on our own, I’m sure we will still have plenty to discuss. So, either way, count on an interesting and informative evening! Bring your questions, suggestions, and concerns and join us to meet your neighbors!

Most meetings include Working Committee presentations regarding Membership, our Watershed, Neighborhood Beautification, Social Activities, Traffic, Parks, and more… as time allows.
