Marin history: Santa Venetia’s past

Clark Reagan’s Texaco service station at 296 North San Pedro Road in Santa Venetia was one of the area’s earliest businesses along with Tweedies General Store right next door. The price of gas in the 1950s was about 18 cents a gallon and, as the sign reads, you could enjoy a nice cold Royal Crown Cola while filling up.
